What You’ll Discover…
Each Unit in this Study Includes:
A teaching section followed by a guided check-in that helps you slow down, reflect on what you’ve learned, and apply it to your everyday life through questions, exercises, and personal awareness.
You can absolutely do this study alone, but it’s also perfect to walk through with a friend, mentor, small group, or your own little “healing herd.”
-
Learn about living Holy Spirit led, understanding pressure and pain, confrontation, and using the Howdy Method to pause, be still, and invite God into your daily life.
-
Discover emotional maturity, relational circuits, sound versus lame attachments, who is safe for your herd, and what you may be “hanging your hat on” for comfort or identity.
-
Learn why joy is so important for healing. We will take a joy ride. Explore your “joy barn capacity” and how relational connection helps us handle hard seasons. The YEEHAW method is also introduced to help you find joy daily!
-
Did you know there are two major types of trauma? This eye-opening section helps explain why people stay stuck while also exploring rotten roots, unhealthy patterns, and the importance of producing healthy fruit.
-
Learn the difference between the Scoundrel, Outlaw, and Partner approaches while discovering healthier ways to cope through the Round Up Method: Whoa. Stable. Howdy. Lasso. Yeehaw. Tip My Hat.
Our Healing FarmAt Our Healing Farm, we use Faith-Based Equine Assisted Philosophy (FBEAP) because healthy horse herds teach us so much about relationships, connection, emotional regulation, leadership, boundaries, safety, and healing. Horses are incredible teachers!

Meet the Author
Melissa Prusinski is the creator of Say Howdy to Healing & Hope and the founder of Our Healing Farm, where she blends faith, Scripture, and life lessons inspired by horses into a simple, relatable approach to healing and growth. She is a wife and mom, and her everyday life deeply shapes her heart for helping others feel seen, understood, and supported in their own journeys.
Melissa is a Faith-Based Equine Assisted Philosophy (FBEAP) facilitator who is passionate about helping people understand connection, emotional patterns, and healing in a way that feels practical and approachable. After walking through her own long season of illness—including late-stage Lyme disease—as well as ongoing challenges with ADD and brain-related complications, she became especially drawn to making deep concepts feel simple, grounded, and easy to apply in real life.
At the center of her work is a desire to help everyday people grow closer to God, find hope in hard places, and experience healing in a way that feels gentle, real, and lasting.
